One of the gifts we got my parents for their anniversary was professional family pictures in Colorado. Jake and I took the lead on finding a photographer and booking them. When we got there, the day before pictures, Jake realized the person he booked was in a completely different town, two hours away. Oops! We were panicked, we didn't want to tell our family that we messed up and it seemed too late to book someone new. I went to bed asking the Lord to work it out for us- seemed like we needed some help! The next morning Jake had emailed the photographer we used in Buena Vista, and she happened to be available and was driving through Vail to go to Denver on the same night as our previously scheduled pictures! I couldn't believe it!!! I was so grateful, the Lord truly did work it out. Another cool part of the story is that she picked a location for us- Lake Dillon- and when we got there, we found out that it was the same place that my parents spent their honeymoon 40 years earlier. How cool!! We were so grateful to have these pictures of our family.
