Hike with Dad.
Fun on the playground.
Loving the boulder park.
We went on a hunt for a family hike and missed the turn, so we drove to the top where the Continental Divide is. It was really windy and really cold so we ran out quickly to take a pictures. No time to get a good one!
So proud to be at the top of the boulder!
When we finally made it to the family hike, we discovered it was a bit more treacherous than we thought. There was quite a bit of snow that we had to walk through, rivers to cross, brush to climb through, it was definitely an adventure! I love doing something challenging together. We made it as far as we could before we lost the trail under the snow and had to turn back. We didn't make it all the way to Lost Lake, but maybe next year! With a pregnant mom and three little kids we decided we better not risk it. It definitely had some beautiful views along the way...
Date with Dad at the Evergreen Cafe.
Ice cream of course.
The house we stayed at this year.
Lots of fun riding scooters this year in front of our house and over to the main area to eat. They spent hours out here. So fun they are getting to the age to do these things. Eiley was just learning to ride.
We always go to this little lake every year and do a little hike around it. It's so fun to go back to the same places.
Gigi sent money for them to buy souvenirs. I'm not sure their choices are great reminders of "Colorado", but they sure had fun picking them out!
So happy to be in a big chair like sister and brother for meals!
We love making the drive to go feed the chipmunks. Anniston and Benton loved it. Eiley was a bit scared.
This is when the chipmunk climbed on Eiley's leg. Needless to say, this ended her time with the chipmunks.
