Waiting for baby

A trip to McDonald's to eat and play with these three is pretty fun.  Great way to end the week.

Cute snuggle buddies

More dress up.

The day before baby came, Jake took the day off work so we could have Family Fun Day and celebrate our last day as a family of 5.  We went to the zoo and had a great time, then ended the day at Chuck E Cheese, a family favorite.  I'm so grateful for my family and these amazing kids.  I feel so confident that our new little one is going to fit right in with this crew and that they will welcome him or her with open arms.  We are getting excited to meet the babe!

Halloween

The kids had a Halloween party at school where they got to parade down the driveway in their costumes.  At the last minute, Anniston decided she wanted to wear her Elena dress to school and match Eiley.  It was freezing.  This is Anniston in the parade when she sees Eiley and begins to tell her to come join her in the parade.

So of course she did...and Eiley loved it!

Benton was in the parade too.  What a cute little skeleton!

After the parade, Benny showed Eiley around the playground and they played together.

Then she got to join him for his party and snack.

That night the kids got dressed up as Rapunzel, skeleton, and Minnie Mouse.  We went to our friends the Hartsock's house for dinner and then did a little trick or treating around the neighborhood before we headed over to Smoking Oaks- a great place to trick or treat where they shut down the street and there are kids and families everywhere.  It's so much fun!

Benton is 4

We were so excited to celebrate Benton's birthday.  This year, Nana and Pops couldn't be at his birthday party, so they came early to celebrate...and we had a great time.  We went to Hey Day and ate dinner and played games.  It was a blast.  The funniest part of the evening was when Benton was playing skee ball and decided to climb under the cover into the part where the holes are and put the balls in.  That's one way to do it I guess!

Then on Benton's actual birthday we woke him up to singing and his birthday balloon, then that afternoon we had a Chuck E Cheese party with two of his buddies, Tate and Shepard.  Gigi, GPa, and Papa came too!

That night Benton was given a treasure map to find his presents.  He got adventure presents!  Everything went into his adventure bag and could be used for all of the adventures he was sure to embark on.  It was so much fun to watch him hunt for his adventure gifts!

Pizza and movie to finish the night!

Mr. Mike and Miss Abbey brought over a head lamp for his birthday.  He loved it!

Chocolate chip cookies with Mom.  Hoping to pass on my secrets!

These two are so cute- with sister being at school everyday this Fall, they have really enjoyed playing together.

We had a rare tornado touch down in Norman in October.  The sirens went off and we were completely unprepared for the off season tornado...we had to climb under the car to get into the shelter...doing this at almost 9 months pregnant was quite a challenge.  Making memories!

Hanging out in the bed of Dad's truck.

The toys at Charleston's restaurant are pretty fun.

Ben's first field trip at school was to the zoo.  Sister and I went for a bit.  He was incredibly sweet to Eiley, holding her hand and making sure she was included in everything, from lunch to roll call.  I love how they love each other.

Checking out something on Dad's phone

We made a paper chain to count down to the baby being born.  They loved this!

Ben's soccer season was a bit rough- he was not too interested in playing, kicking the ball, really anything but snack or running through the tunnel at the end.  Time will tell if we try again next season.

Poor guy was sick for awhile and had a pretty bad cough- Dad fixed him up in his office.
