Rara

Where do I begin to write about Sara King, or in our family, Rara?

When we were looking for a house, one of the things that I wanted was four bedrooms.  I wanted that bedroom so that Sara could live with us....so I was so thankful when our house allowed for four bedrooms and Sara moved in as soon as we did.  Sara has been one of the greatest blessings in our lives.  When I went back to work, she's the one who loved on my baby girl.  She danced with her, played with her, loved her, and brought peace and joy into our house.  She made the transition amazing and was the greatest nanny you could ever ask for...but she wasn't just a nanny to us.  She was part of our family...and we wanted her to live with us because what greater blessing than having another person to bring the light of Jesus into your home and to love on your kids and to do everyday life with?  The way she loved us, served us, played with us, shared her heart with us and wanted to know ours...she's everything you could dream of in a roommate.  If we could have it our way, Sara would live with us forever...but with another babe on the way, Sara was moving on to another adventure.  We were all sad, but we knew that this season of living together even further deepened our friendship and our connection to one another...which meant it was not the end.  Sara will always be part of our family, and we thank Jesus for bringing her into our lives.  We love you Rara!
