February March 2016

Over the course of a couple of days, the kids thought it would be a great idea to find stuff (hair gel, lotion, and the worst of all- aquaphor) and put it all in their hair.  I spent a lot of time this week washing hair.

Ben is almost always in a super hero outfit of some kind.

Our favorite donut shop.

One weekend we took a little getaway to Dallas.  It was so fun to get away and spend some time as a family- we found some parks and some good places to eat and swam in the indoor pool.  This weekend with three littles looked a little bit different than our Dallas getaways when we were early married, but we had a blast!

We love getting together with cousins at the lake!

For my birthday this year, Jake and I did a progressive dinner through the Plaza in Oklahoma City and then stayed in a hotel nearby.  It was so fun to get an evening away with my man.  He celebrates me so well.

We love family walks in our neighborhood and try to take them almost every night the weather is nice.  Usually it's us walking and the three kids in the stroller, but tonight we let them drive.

These little buddies had so much fun playing!

One day I could hear Eiley crying and then suddenly she stopped.  I walked into the living room to see what had happened.  This guy was so proud- "Mom I'm feeding Eiley!"  He's the best big brother.

Our elementary school hosts a Family Fun Night every year and we decided to check it out.  The kids had so much fun playing games, spray painting their hair, and getting their faces painted.  We love Monroe!

I had to go vote and was in a hurry to get out the door.  This is what this guy had on as we left, no shoes and all.  So I stood in line to vote with Anniston, a baby, and this guy.  Needless to say I got quite a few stares.

I could hear Anniston saying "SHHHH, she will hear us".  When I came in the kitchen to investigate, this is what I found...

So proud to be on his bike.

This may be one of the strangest things that Jake and I do from time to time.  We get a date night but we don't feel like going to the movies...we go get treats, go to a park or somewhere, and watch a movie on a phone in the car...kind of like a mini drive-in.

My little ballerina on her way to dance.  I love watching her dance.
