Easton

One of the highlights of the Summer was having our niece Easton come stay with us for a few days.  Anniston had been praying for months that Jesus would let Easton come to her house to stay with her...and we finally made it happen!  We had so much fun!

Heading to Norman with this crew!

They created a family band, named the Golden State Warriors (Easton's choice) and had a blast singing and dancing.  Anniston was definitely getting into her role as lead guitar and vocal.

One thing we love to do is have movie nights, complete with a visit to the concession stand for treats.  It was fun to have someone new come experience our little traditions!

Our first day I thought I would take the kids to the Science Museum.  I didn't think much about it until I pulled into the parking lot and realized I was taking a 6, 4, 2, and 1 year old to a giant museum by myself...but it was too late to turn around...so we had a family meeting in the parking lot about staying together and we went for it!  We had so much fun- the segways were the biggest hit of the day I think...well, that and coloring their faces.  That never gets old for my kids.

When we got home, we got to work on chocolate chip cookies so they could be ready in time for tea. Me and the girls had a lovely tea party together.

Playing in the sprinklers is a must do in the Summer.

Our neighbors introduced us to sponge bombs...taking strips of sponges and tying them together, soaking them in water, and throwing them.  You get soaked, you don't have to pick up little pieces of water balloons, and you can re-use them.  Genius.  We loved our sponge bomb fights with Easton.

If you are going to have a week of my kids favorite activities, you gotta make a stop at Chuck E Cheese.  Easton hit the jackpot and won 300 tickets...and they all got to cash in on some suckers for the drive home.

Hitting the grocery store with these cuties.

Paint time.

We feel so blessed to have Easton in our family, and it was SO MUCH FUN getting to have her visit Norman for a few days.  We already can't wait to do it again.
