This year we have one at Gingerbread three days a week, and two at First Christian one day a week. Anniston was so excited to get back to Gingerbread and Benton was THRILLED to be starting school. Truth be told, he's probably been ready for a year. They all had such a great day. Anniston played with friends, Ben charmed all his teachers, and Eiley held it together all day, didn't nap, pounded her lunch, and came home and crashed from exhaustion. All in all, a great day had by all. We are so grateful for wonderful schools where our kids can go and be loved on by some awesome teachers and kiddos.

First Day of School
This year we have one at Gingerbread three days a week, and two at First Christian one day a week. Anniston was so excited to get back to Gingerbread and Benton was THRILLED to be starting school. Truth be told, he's probably been ready for a year. They all had such a great day. Anniston played with friends, Ben charmed all his teachers, and Eiley held it together all day, didn't nap, pounded her lunch, and came home and crashed from exhaustion. End of Summer
One of the big items on the to do list before school started was to get this guy potty trained. He was PUMPED about big boy underwear.
Outdoor fun.
Sweet girl chilling in her chair.
Fun at the lake.
We love when friends drop by unannounced for a visit. She's practicing to be a big sister so soon!
Heading to Antioch's Splash Bash in our neighborhood.
Scooter fun for everyone.
Loving the swing.
Just some art/science/fun/mess.
This is Anniston getting her nails done and prepping for her date with Rara.
Family slumber party minus the babe.
Before school starts, we try to take the kids on little one on one dates. Mine with Anniston has been for the last two years to go get our new dance stuff for the year and to make a stop at Starbucks for cake pops. Love time with this girl.
Loving the park.
Making messes.
"Look Mom I'm wearing it like Easton"
Found them watching TV like this one morning.
We decided to have a picnic on our driveway one night and had to move to the garage when it started raining...this girl was loving her mac and cheese.
Picnic at the park.
Trip to the zoo with friends.
It rained most of the time we were there and we were all soaked, but that just made it more of an adventure! Love adventures with these kids!
Easton
One of the highlights of the Summer was having our niece Easton come stay with us for a few days. Anniston had been praying for months that Jesus would let Easton come to her house to stay with her...and we finally made it happen! We had so much fun!
Heading to Norman with this crew!
They created a family band, named the Golden State Warriors (Easton's choice) and had a blast singing and dancing. Anniston was definitely getting into her role as lead guitar and vocal.
One thing we love to do is have movie nights, complete with a visit to the concession stand for treats. It was fun to have someone new come experience our little traditions!
Our first day I thought I would take the kids to the Science Museum. I didn't think much about it until I pulled into the parking lot and realized I was taking a 6, 4, 2, and 1 year old to a giant museum by myself...but it was too late to turn around...so we had a family meeting in the parking lot about staying together and we went for it! We had so much fun- the segways were the biggest hit of the day I think...well, that and coloring their faces. That never gets old for my kids.
When we got home, we got to work on chocolate chip cookies so they could be ready in time for tea. Me and the girls had a lovely tea party together.
Playing in the sprinklers is a must do in the Summer.
Our neighbors introduced us to sponge bombs...taking strips of sponges and tying them together, soaking them in water, and throwing them. You get soaked, you don't have to pick up little pieces of water balloons, and you can re-use them. Genius. We loved our sponge bomb fights with Easton.
If you are going to have a week of my kids favorite activities, you gotta make a stop at Chuck E Cheese. Easton hit the jackpot and won 300 tickets...and they all got to cash in on some suckers for the drive home.
Hitting the grocery store with these cuties.
Paint time.
