We decided to celebrate Eiley's birthday at the lake again. All of her grandparents and cousins came to celebrate. We had a great time! She wanted an ice cream cake with a princess crown on it, so I did my best. She was so excited about her birthday and it is so much fun to celebrate her. Eiley is full of personality- she's so opinionated, so independent, so funny, so kind, and so helpful. We love our Eiley Jane.

June 2018
June always starts with Anniston's dance recital. She did awesome! It is so much fun to watch her dance. I am always so grateful for the support she has- Gigi, Nana, and Pops all came to see her dance! This year I left her lipstick in her bag so that if one of her teachers wanted to add a little bit before her performance it was available...but instead Anniston added more lipstick herself. Lesson learned. In full disclosure, some of these pictures have been edited to remove the excess lipstick.
Playing cards together.
My beautiful blue eyed girl.
A big adventure this year was our decision to purchase a house at the lake- a trial run on going into business with my brother. Jake and Craig saw an open house sign on Memorial Day, went to look at it, and the rest is history. We bought it in June and spent a lot of time fixing it up and getting it ready to rent. Mom and Dad were so helpful from picking out stuff we needed to meeting workers at the house for us to cleaning to organizing to laundry to helping Craig put insulation in the attic in 100 degree weather and so much more. It has been a group effort for sure we we are beyond grateful for all the help in making this endeavor happen. Time will tell how the adventure turns out!
